March Happenings

Welcome to 3rd winter in Idaho!

If you’re already here, you’ll know what we’re talking about. Those random late winter storms seem to come out of nowhere right when you think Spring has arrived early! But good news…..Spring IS coming! We would like to keep you up to date with events as the season changes and what you can look forward to! As always, please reach out if you have any questions about the greater North Idaho area and if you are planning a visit, don’t hesitate to ask about our recommended places to stay, food to eat, and attractions to visit!

Springtime is a unique season in North Idaho. Depending on the previous winter, many people can be in desperate need of some sun. Luckily, this past winter was fairly warm with only a couple deep cold snaps. Snow was light and we had some pretty sunny days overall. As we move into March, be prepared for quite a bit of gray skies and our seasonal rains! February and March are also some of the best months to escape the winter and do an annual vacation somewhere South if you have the means….because once summer comes, you’re not gonna want to leave!!!

Over the past month, we have worked hard to bring unique content with information about North Idaho and have some genuine conversations with some great minds here locally. We have interviewed some fantastic folk including Sheriff Bob Norris and County Commissioner Bruce Mattare, Sheriff Candidate Dan Wilson, and Fill Churkin from Fill’s Lawn Care; a free service to help people clean and rejuvenate their ailing lawns.
